Synopsis

When ex-NYPD detective Wendy Gould meets a handsome stranger in a Manhattan jazz lounge, she is flattered by his attention. What she doesn't know is that her decision to go back to his hotel room will tear her life apart. A shocking sequence of events leaves Wendy heartbroken, on the run, and wanted by the FBI. Wendy turns to the only person she can trust to help clear her name - her former partner from the force, Joe. But as they begin to unravel a labyrinth of secrets, lies and cover-ups, it becomes clear that the people chasing Wendy want to ensure her silence - permanently.
