Synopsis

In the Ottoman Empire lived Kukla, who had one blue eye and one yellow, and spoke both French and Turkish. In 1868 Paris, Casimir falls in love with a face in a portrait - a woman with one blue eye and one yellow. Two people, worlds apart, are destined to dream the same dream, as East meets West in the building of the Suez Canal.
